Dear visitor,

Since childhood I have been fascinated by the power of image. I decided to study it a little more in depth when my 5 kids got a little less dependent on me.  I took several classes in photography and in editing programs such as Lightroom and Photoshop.  After I took some additional classes in portrait and fashion photography, I decided to give it a go and start a professional business. 

My focus is on the human being, an inexhaustible source of inspiration to me and impossible to fully comprehend. I try to stress the beauty of each person by choosing the right angle in the best light circumstances. Far more,  I try to reveal a hint of the soul of my subject.

To achieve this,  interaction is very important.  I try to get to know a little more about my clients and build a nice atmosphere before we start working together. Many encounters I have made through my photography remain special to me since people have opened up to me, trusted me, and I am grateful for that.  It gives more meaning to my profession and made my life richer.

In Ethiopia I found a wonderful connection with people. Every time I visit the country, I am struck by the beauty of its people, their humble yet stubborn pride, their strength to overcome hardship, their rich and varied culture...

Children fascinate me endlessly.  I try to go along with their fantasy and let them direct me. Each time is different but it always is an adventure !

I love shooting weddings.  Being thé turning point in 2 people's lives, a wedding day is a roller coaster of feelings:  the nervousness of getting ready at dawn, the solemn vows of the couple, the emotional reactions of family, the festive craziness of friends, the proud and cute happiness of brides'kids...a real challenge to capture all these different emotions at the right moment.. but so rewarding when you helped creating a memory of somebody's most important day !

My photographic world is colourful and full of contrast and emotion, though I admit,  sometimes black and white are the proper colour to deliver the message.

Photography has changed my life, giving me a chance to be creative and have an indepth look in somebody's life at the same time.
